Technical exchanges among partner networks are essentials to support small-scale farmers in transition to organic agriculture, as well as sharing local wisdom and technologies that are contextually appropriate. Exchange platforms for technical support would also ensure that learning is derived through shared experiences, which can empower farmers and their communities, validating their knowledge, and strengthening self-reliance. Technical implementation on seeds, soil and planting technology and product are important to improve productivity and create value-added for organic products. Technical support on these issues will build up farmers’ capacities in proper organic farming and help them during the conversion period.
